Why not have this link to the Schrems article[0] rather than this advertisement for the Simple Analytics product? [0] https://noyb.eu/en/privacy-shield-20-first-reaction-max-schr...

A typical consulting acquisition for someone like Accenture could be $250-500k per head. I realize this firm is deeply specialized and at the top of their industry, but it is a massive premium.

With 600 consultants that is $9M per consultant. I realize they analysts and other staff, but compared to other consulting acquisitions which are often <$500k per consultant. Consultants are notoriously difficult to retain and often clas

Great article. Some of the Mac UI has changed in the last two years since this was written, but I at least figured out my main monitor had switched to 30 Hz for some reason and I have a better optimized scale now. Much easier on the eyes.

It is kind of amazing how often the "next big thing" turns out to be less than promised. Natural Gas was supposed to be this great transition away from coal and heating oil and it seems like it has nearly as many issues.

He's not wrong about some of this, but DHH has lost so much credibility that he's not a particularly desirable public face of this fight.

One interesting aspect buried deeper in the release is that United has gone out to make extensive financial commitments to get this fuel produced at greater scale. Putting these fuels to use is more than just testing.

Really pleasantly surprised at how progressive this memo is. It will be interesting to see the timelines put in place to make the transition. Btw - I'd love to see the people who put this memo together re-evaluate the ID.me system they

Hopefully this turns into a situation where consumers and technologists are the winners. Pat Gelsinger was pretty clear on how he felt about the situation with Apple when he joined Intel and it seems clear we'll see Intel continue to i

I agree. Hospital capacity is critical. One of the biggest mistakes of the pandemic is leaders not being clear on exactly what problem they're trying to solve and laying out how a manageable list of mitigations address the specific pro

I'm aligned that developers are the ones who pay the price. Apple gets consumers on their side and can turn that into leverage against developers. This is where regulation and litigation are going to be key going forward. I don't

Apple has already made it clear that there is only one user base they are interested in supporting. They've made a huge business out of supporting only the Apple way. It can certainly be frustrating in some cases, but that is the choic
