What kind of sales numbers does that site pull? You seem to imply there are multiple designers selling more than ~800 items a month. The spotify market is really that large?

The blog post in question says nothing of the sort. No where does it mention bringing government in to bring down Monsanto. He says he is a free market capitalist and.. If you agree with them, you will do business with them. If you don’t,

Why a QR code and not a big freaking advertising banner? If it is because there are regulations against advertising.. the QR code is still an advertisement, so that shouldn't be a loophole.

“Don’t be dependent on anything or anyone,” Neu says. “It’s safest to plan as if the government isn’t going to take care of me, companies aren’t going to take care of me.” Doesn't appear the boomer generation figured this out. As a Gen X,

Isn't it against Facebook policy to use the like button in this manner? http://developers.facebook.com/policy/ You must not incentivize users to use (or gate content behind the use of) Facebook social channels, or imply that an incentive

I have 98 of these in a box on my wall... You can "control" it via a web app running node.js. Had a bunch of kids over this weekend who loved playing with it.

Same here, although I am a subscriber of Last.fm I have been rebuilding my deck all summer. Fire up the xbox, blast it through the stereo speakers and I get hours of music chosen for me with no interruptions. While last.fm seems to go deepe

And you have to rely on a third party for hosting your css.

Possibly only for paid accounts? On the Mac app, the 2nd item is "Play Queue". "What's new" is first and "Inbox" is third.

Today we’re previewing five new dynamic templates in Blogger that you’ll soon be able to customize and use for your blog. Looks like the /view is just to preview them

What happened to the new templates they announced at the end of March? I liked the look and was hoping to try one out for a personal project. http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/fresh-new-perspective...

Way too spaced out for my liking. I go from seeing 34 messages per page to 24. And about 20 letters of the message summary are dropped.

Huh? Tiebreaker goes to the creator? Then you would have no fair use, parody or any of the sorts.

You are correct in that cucumber is a testing tool... What is in that repo on github "whenever.js" is not for testing and is not BDD for js or jquery. The author implemented a dsl like cucumber to allow creation of behavior in javascript.

by timmaah 15y ago
I don't think this has anything to do with QA or testing. Just another way to write javascript inspired by the cucumber DSL.

Up in Vermont it has really taken off in the past 10 years. And it is people doing it for recreation, not for transportation. The problem it seems to me is the size of the roads. Most of the time you can not cleanly get around a biker witho

No.. the switch to traditional format option was added after the site were live for 2 or 3 weeks. (At least on Jalopnik) It is the only reason I went back to reading Jalopnik.

How do they have any revenue? Unless they charge to be in the branded "Flip" feeds?
209.
by timmaah 16y ago
If the FlipLive was to debut yesterday, certainly there was inventory to back that up. What kind of lead time does production of that have? How much extra $$ did cisco blow by killing an in production product the day before it launches?
