Well depends on how big and how fast. This worked for me https://github.com/time4tea/glossary/blob/master/README.md Its a very simple Aho-Corasick text search with replacement. A similar thing in Java us

Hmm. Google gets money to show you ads. Google gets money not to show you ads. Who is winning? (Google) Who is losing? ( everybody else, especially you)

You can use pihole or pyhole to just block them for your home, then vpn from your phone. No more ads. Then buy subscription to sites you like. Dont give google a percentage of everything.

Really?? How much does a person cost per month? You could avoid lots of fiddling for many people just by using appropriate tools. Applies for everything, not just this.

This whole thing is pointless, it seems. If you want an oracle jre use it. If you want a tiny jre use a vendor that makes one, there are quite a few. Skelmir for example makes a jre that can be very very small. (I used it, i dont work for t

As I also mentioned in another comment above, you might find some value in py-hole, which is a pi-hole implemented in python. You can just apt-install it. Its pre-alpha, but it might work for you... https://github.com/time4t

You could also use py-hole which is a simple apt install of a bit of python that does the dnsmasq file creation and update. Its pre alpha but may work for you https://github.com/time4tea-net/py-hole

The noImplicitAny flag just doesn't make sense. You changed the new default behaviour to be the thing you don't recommend?

Hmm. Clearly this code is miles away from MISRA compliance (although compliance doesn't mean that the software is any good) Even so, sorry to say, the code is miles away from any decent software standard. It is almost exactly what you

Well, not if you expect that you will have exactly the same time/space behaviour and pre/post conditions. This is why lots of embedded, secure and defense software doesn't use standard libraries, and printf will instead be ca

What a waste of fossil fuel energy! What a waste of laptop battery! It can be really hard to make software efficient, sometimes there are easy wins.. seems odd to not just do it. An insert or delete from (e.g.) a rope is very cheap and as t

Slightly OT... this is amazing and a generous contribution. I'm wondering though how come no version control from the start? For me this is the very first thing, just before setting up some sort of CI build... for any project at work o
