That is really cold, but the temperature I would keep an unused house at. If I tried to do that in our current place, my family would be extremely angry - we have it at 20 and even then I get complaints.

As a Taycan owner I would say it isn’t ( there are a lot of factors involved to sum that up ). It’s a better car though.

It’s cheap for the range you get. That’s about it in my personal opinion. Prefer Polestar, Hyundai, Kia and a whole bunch of others to Tesla.

I use OmniOS - its actually not that rare to use if you want a good ZFS server. I am about to do a fresh install on new hardware of it as well. Its not legacy at all.

Network router with DNS resolver, internal domain, all DHCP clients get registered with a name as a subdomain. mycomputer.networkname.lan - I use pfsense, but lots of others support this. You could have your own top level domain as well.
