Total opposite experience. AWS UI is slow, workflow is terrible. Google cloud is much better. Mind you once you get to a certain point using the APIs is better.

No, i hate large modern touch screens in cars and prefer proper buttons, and controls that I can memorize, like the controller in my BMW. I can do most things with minimal eyes off road. I would argue its not a best in class feature, its a

Except it’s not a drop in the bucket anymore. All of the costs have come way down. To be honest I don’t think they are targeting the everyday video producer. They are targeting the high end as like you say a lot of people could use the othe

There are plenty of professionals working in content creation everyday that don’t have that kind of budget to spend $43000 on a monitor or even the budget for a well specified new Mac Pro.

That’s not really true because Windows does come close, and I say that as someone whose every day DAW is running on MacOS. I also have Windows on other machines to compare it to. Out of the box a Mac is fine as is but a well configured well

Have a look here https://zworkstations.com/products/z840/ I tried coming up with something similar to the base spec MacPro but got larger storage, more cores and an Nvidia card with a decent saving.
