I have been using Autosleep now with an apple watch 6 - for 3 years daily. The learnings and the gamification are huge for me. I got my deep sleep up from 1.5h to consistently over 2h. Learnings: - early to bed makes more deep sleep. Huge d

(unrelated to content) Wow, that site speed! In the footer there’s a link to OPs source code. The whole site gets compiled with Rust. Interesting gem to find.

Because you don't have to build a feature in your own software that - stores the templates - selectively runs campaigns and tracks open rates etc - create campaigns, see how many users are in there, have a safeguard before you hit &quo

Couple of great UX things I’ve found - the game doesn’t let you play without knowing how to use the controls, and it shows them in real time - whenever you tap, the tap area lights up. Small Details that make a difference!

This is beautifully written - thanks so much! This story reminds me of (how I imagine) the career of Connor Price looks like. Check him out on youtube. He makes so many tracks with so many people - and eventually things pick up. He could ve

I had a candidate like this. 7 years of Ruby, but didn’t know keyword parameters. On the CV there were some companies with dubious consulting websites, super generic. I emailed them, no reply. If I wouldn’t have given him a live coding test

Yes. The idea is great: hide some of the screens when in focus mode. Problems: cannot totally disable apps like in the app usage settings. And there you cannot really schedule blocks where you can access them. Also: the allowed apps list ha

I actually had something similar made in a small shop in vietnam in 2016. Back then I had to record the video and merge it later. I should dig it out again. It was a simple bent plastic plate. Worked like a charm for my 7 plus.

After failing with an EOS M50, a HDMI capture card, and the USB EOS connector I gave up on the DSLR idea and went to camo with my iPhone13 Pro. It’s waay better. I only use default settings. Quality trumps anything I tried before. Added bon

Same experience here. Bought a couple for 60 usd each at amazon. Way more comfortable and keep fresh longer than synthetic/cotton t-shirts.

I like the concept. I plan my week in a similar manner with Notion: just add headlines for every week day. My issue is that the tasks often overflow and I rarely clean them up consistently. How does this app solve the problem of overwhelm?

That’s a lot of effort being put into this website (not to speak of the scans themselves). Does anyone know how they monetize this page? Or is it just a hobby project?

If I would have “Minimal Vietnamese” - it would be a blessing. There are so many different words for the same thing (just like in English). learning vocabulary is the most difficult thing for me.

I learned a lot from this post. it’s humble, gives compliments and addresses key points the product falls short of. I upvoted the first harsher comment but then saw how you. framed it. I’ll try to give criticism more like yours in the futur

Autosleep app. The best sleep tracking I've used so far. By using it for around 3 months I figured out patterns that lead to better sleep. Highly recommended.

Not sure I can agree to this. Not everything that you commit to for 3 years will turn out a success. The quoted Matt D'avela video featured 2 Austrailian podcasters who committed to 5 years. They just released their 800th episode, and
