I still like it. Its vendor agnostic. I find the scanning documents ability works well on iOS. Not really sure what else I could be using to be honest.

Developing inside a container seems like a basic mitigation that a developer could use. Depends what you're developing though.

I'm wondering what the client vs server is responsible for. I would have thought the server could have been responsible for adding/removing the buff where necessary. Curious as to how health regen is done in general. The server mu

Did you report it to Google/AWS? I feel like they would be proactive about removing malicious users, but whether expectations match reality is another question.

That sounds familiar! I now use OneNote just because I know it syncs and I don't need to do anything. Making notes is important but start with a dump of links of resources, then start adding comments, so you don't forget. Once you

I'm not in the game industry, so I may be wrong, but there doesn't seem to be any push in the game industry to use open source for common problems. Why should a matchmaking/game browser use proprietary code? Create standards

Its something that has pained me greatly in the last couple of years. I completely agree. Game devs have stripped so much away from the user. Matchmaking, lack of server hosting, no mods. It feels like much of the community has gone. I play

Sorry for being a little off topic, but the Mini Redis tutorial [1] was really fun when I did it a few years ago. It has you implement a server and client in Rust using the Tokio library. I think Redis is a great server to “build yourself”

A language that does not derive information from whitespace, doesn't mean the language is written without whitespace. Java, Go, Javascript, Rust, etc are all regularly written with whitespace, and have tools to enforce such formatting,

We use GitLab CI and solve this with tags. We have runners allocated with set resources and tagged with a t-shirt size. Developers can then tag their job based on this size. Single threaded jobs (curl-uploading a file) can be tagged "s

Between £100k and £125k your personal allowance is reduced to £0, so for every £1 you gain, you lose more of that allowance and that works out to a 20% reduction. That on top of the 40% rate equals 60%.
