My experience with these noob-friendly proxys is that many apps just don't work behind a proxy and need complex configurations. You end up pasting a confusing snippet found in the internet to make it work.

this is fun because the snap works perfectly on my machine, and it's fast as the native version. I think the snap version is far better than running it natively (more secure). A web browser is a hacker's dream.

I don't see the problem with snaps. They just work for me. Firefox snap is very fast and don't have issues.
