Is Vespa working outside the rules/spirit of law of state DMVs by selling scooters that are 1cc under the requirement for motorcycle registration/tax/license? It seems like a pretty good analogy to me, with the main differenc

I'm not sure. This feels a little like 49cc scooters (most states have 50cc license/registration requirements). The DMV in many states will look at you funny if you try to go register one to get a plate. It's literally 1cc un

And I know people are like, "Well, just follow the rules!", and they should... some people fly drones stupidly. BUT - it's worth pointing out that if you live in some cities like Boston, that it is nearly impossible to fly a

I was trying recently to prototype a multiplayer experience, and got pretty stalled when it came around to the networking side. My goal wasn't to make it fast/scalable, but rather just to be able to have 4 people sit at my kitchen

Good. I find it unlikely to pass, but I'd like it to pass. If a CEO says publicly, "Our product is safe and good for the public, and there should be no concern" and it turns out they knew their product was actively harmful, o

It’s a myth that reasonable accommodations are too much of a burden for a small business to handle. Having a menu made into Braille for example isn’t going to cost a ton. On the upside, they would also now have business available that they

I used to think that, but after long searching I have found that there are actually companies (often non-profits, but not always) that do hold reasonable morals. If this act didn't stand to hurt anyone, why did China care in the first

That might be true. I only really know my own experiences. I don't even have an engineering/CS degree, and have just taught myself everything. But, maybe I have some special experiences that others haven't had.

Apple's threatened moving a lot of production to India (which has its own problems, but shows moving is possible). The new Mac Pro is to be made in Texas, and I think Apple at one point was considering a chip plant there for the iPhone

I'm absolutely 100% certain that someone in the US was aware of this change, and signed off on it. What I'm saying is that there is no circumstance in which I'd personally do that, and as someone who is comparatively "ri
