How generous of them to allow their paying user to disable the ads. It's only a matter of time until this either becomes some sort of premium feature.

I find Claude Code in VS Code is sometimes horribly inefficient. I tell it to replace some print-statements with proper logging in the one file I have open and it first starts burning tokens to understand the codebase for the 13th time toda

A lot of tech-savvy people (like me) love solving meta-problems. Doing the thing that would take 10 minutes? Na man, let me build an unnecessary complicated technical solution that in theory enables hundreds of people to do the thing much m

I think the point is people mistaking planning, preparation, talking about the thing... for doing the thing.

I've made a similar experience. Not having to focus on my exact speed all the time (using adaptive cruise control) enables me to watch the mirrors more. It also enables me to keep my attention over multiple hours. On a kinda unrelated

I've used the Anthropic models mostly through Openrouter using aider. With so much buzz around Claude Code I wantes to try it out and thought that a subscription might be more cost efficient for me. I was kinda disappointed by how quic

This comment section: people who do nothing condemn people who do something for not doing another thing.

That entirely depends on your business case. If that call costing 50 Cent has done something for me which would have taken me more than 1 minute of paid working time to do it's sustainable.

The "protein" part of the "new" pyramid does not mention legumes (beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils, lupins...) despite them being a highly efficient source of proteins.

A great exercise while being still is to put your attention to various parts of your body: what does the air smell like? What do you hear? How does the chair under your butt and the ground under your feet feel like? Try not to think too muc

This was a very recent change. Just yesterday the same line read "The next generation of Linux gaming". So it's good someone is taking feedback!

Direct Share is a "feature" where some contacts are displayed in the first row when you want to share some file. Unforunately, these contacts are not relevant and cannot be edited. They are just some random numbers and whatsapp gr

Now fix Direct Share on android, which is a highly broken feature and has been for years.

Maybe far down the road. For now I'm fine with a minimal tool that does not aim to take out the human interaction in the group haha. If the tool finds a small community more features might be added like content-based recommendations, b

I'm working on a little website that helps me and my friends to decide easier what to play on a gamenight, because it always goes like this: - I want to play x and y - I want to play y and z - I don't have z - I don't really

I agree, but your points becomes stronger when you leave Netflix away. Netflix is a private entertainment company, and when I don't like their conditions I can always quit. Banks on the other hand have so much more control over my life

Your argument builds upon two assumptions: 1. There is a finite number of pre-defined gender-identities which are not interchangeable. 2. Identity is bound to biological organs I see no proof of these assumptions. How humans see each other

What are the delusions that you speak of? Because it seems to me that you are mixing up identity and illness. Also: if a identity or an emotion is real to me, does it not become real through that act itself?
