I took a look at Databricks public customer case studies[1] and haven't a clue who any of these companies are: Atlassian? Adobe? ExxonMobil? PagerDuty? McAfee? HSBC? Starbucks? AstraZeneca? GlaxoSmithKline? Comcast? FINRA? Regeneron? R

I agree with everything above. The main advantage the newer data warehouses have over the legacy on-prem incumbents is that they had the chance to build from scratch having learned from all of the challenges that the original players encoun
