If Brexit succeeds then other countries will plan a leave of their own. That's the reason for all these punitive measures the EU is putting on the UK. Innovation must stand up to the test of time, but history teaches us that large em

The Barney song ("I love you") was used by the CIA as an interrogation technique. Here's an article about the practice: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_in_psychological_opera...

But it's still terribly fragile and Brexit risks the whole thing collapsing. Not necessarily an innovation if it won't stand up to time.

Poor documentation seems to be a Google culture thing. I suspect that's why godoc is literally just source code comments wrapped in HTML.

The other way to look at it is that HN comments are indistinguishable from GPT-3 generated sentences. Hell, even a standard Markov chain would suffice.

This is why I'm convinced independent journalists are the future. Fact finding itself is a shrinking part of the job. Fact checking the monunental amount of data out there is increasingly important. As such, the need for these megacorp

Eh... in some parts of the US there is still a stigma against being LGBT. Grindr being foreign owned means opening up the possibility of people (who aren't ready to come out) being blackmailed. And that's clearly a national securi

I'm trying to build something which tackles this problem. The idea would be delegating the decision of what you consume to an algorithm (that you can control), and you'll be delivered a subset of news/content daily. Basically
