yes this was my observation, since the ones outside my house were replaced I have much less light into my house and I can see the stars. I assumed it must be some factor of the LED design that makes it easier to direct downwards though

I believe that is false, as MCAS should (when correctly implemented) only apply at the edge of the flight envelope and those airworthiness requirements are all related to normal regimes. I can't find anything supporting your understand

Different handling at the edge of the flight envelope is not a "design problem". The design is fine, it just handles differently from the other versions in certain regimes so they (attempted, poorly) used software to avoid that

a 130kt (~the stall speed) wind over the wings would pretty much remove the entire weight of the aircraft. Okay, lift is proportional to the square of the airspeed, but it's still going to be a huge factor and make it really unreliable

UK Banks have always been very wary of crypto. It was always a worry that your account might get suddenly closed if you interacted too much with the crypto ecosystem

Standard (hot) fusion, not cold fusion. Having read a few articles previous on fusion, I'm familiar with the words tokamak and stellarator, so it was obvious to me that it was about fusion from the title. I wonder how many other titles

yeah for temporary/part time work you'll often have hourly rates with weekly pay, but that wouldn't normally be called a salary

I think my inclination is to trust the algorithm more than any humans, which is the interesting part! It gave me a confidence boost far more than I've felt when other people have told me such things.

It gave me an attractiveness of 9.5, and 5-10 years younger than I am, which has actually given me a big boost of confidence. How strange.

There's an almost perfect test case of the two approaches in SpaceX's Dragon Vs Boeing's Starliner. The "move fast and break things" approach seems to work better.
