I advocate for my beliefs on public accounts as well as internally - this account just happened to be what I was logged into is all. The simple fact is these publications are promoted because they are popular, making no comment on accuracy.

Nah, I disagree. Capitalism is the most natural system because it accepts what we are - selfish beings in a competitive environment. If we didn't specialize and trade skills/products/services, we'd still be a hunter-gath

The words aren't the problem (unless it's a rally to violence), the action is. Any culture that can pivot to genocide from being exposed to the written word has bigger issues.

Not easily, but I think it's the only reasonable stance. Anything else is too subjective and easily falls into slippery slope territory. Long term, I know harm will be minimised through free speech.

No - the API :) Admittedly I've tinkered with building out a similar idea so it's always nice to see people being successful with RSS tech.

I think you can stay absolutist (albeit, being a bit cold about the situation). The principle of free speech is that it's paid for in blood because it's the least worst choice. Edit: I personally think the reasonable limit is call

Agree with everything you said. My only concern is the political aspect. I see mainly establishment media, elites and politicians are the ones pushing for the censorship because they're afraid of free dissemination of information onlin

Self organizing doesn't work because everyone wants what's best for themselves. Every grassroots activity has figureheads and leaders. Hierarchy is literally older than civilisation and observed in most animal life.

Huawei doesn't need "backdoors" for the CCP, because they are CCP. The higher-ups are undoubtedly all party members.

An organisation the size of Google's probably fucks up thousands of times daily. I reckon <1% of issues are actually complained about, so yeah, I'd believe it's a mistake.

Other than lack of refunds and poor support for a decade, Steam was still the most consumer friendly app store. They got everything else right .

Thank you for the links - you've opened my mind a bit here. I still don't think that's necessarily worthy of the word "gassing" given we're in a global pandemic and people aren't being murdered. > Pleas

Like it or not, Google is a part of the Open Internet. Example: AMP was created to protect the free flow of information which was being silo'd into apps. Consumers of news were abandoning the open (mobile) web due to the godawful perfo
