More information: The CEO edited post(s) from r/theDonald which was a horrible subreddit. They ended up creating a new feature (r/popular) to get rid of that sub. I think I'm OK with that.

We could do with less cars, the numbers of death without drugs is insanely high already. People already drive drunk because there is no good public transport. I’m sure uber/lyft must have decrease road accidents immensly.

That explains why they are being so aggressive about using the app. They are trying to up these numbers for investors. I feel less hatred towards them now that I understand that.

It's stupid to not have a yyyymmdd format anyway. The American mmddyyyy format causes a lot of confusion.

"session timeout" is the worst thing that can happen when you're trying to book tickets. The whole experience or booking flying tickets is awful and generally takes a lot ot time. When this happens and you need to refill info

I'd say it's more practical to do it on the iPad, but I haven't tried.

I've been doing movie editing for more than a decade and doing it on the iPad seems like such a smooth experience. I just want to edit that timeline with my fingers. Note that I haven't tried it byt this is my intuition.

This makes me kinda regret buying a different laptop. The iPad pro is perfect except for the following reasons: * It doesn't sit well in your lap. So if you don't have a table and you want to type that's annoying * It's

Restaurants in other part of the country will raise someone's paycheck if the tip didn't reach a minimum threshold. We call waiters who expect tips "wasters" here in the bay. That's not a bro thing, just a shift in

There has been a no tipping movement in san francisco that has worked quite well. People don't tip anymore here and it is not socially accepted to do it.

It does. Most people I know in SF, including me, don't tip. Waiters here are way more used to it and don't necessarily expect it.
