   Amazon - 35 high severity tickets in one week. Most of them were some kind of fire that I needed to deal with. Didn't have much sleep that week.

   You are right. We were responsible only for one service out of hundreds. Different teams have probably different rules.

   I can confirm. I worked for AWS and we always waived all fees when people made mistake like this. Many thousands of dollars. We also asked them to summarize what happened so we can think how to help other users not to make the same mistake
