I don't get what would be so interesting about nyc after age 35 or so. Just people trying to make it, money to be made, tourists and visitors, etc. The young people you can kind of classify and thus they're not that interesting.

Don't need something crazy, just a 25 min run can suffice.

What would be your ultimate first book for someone who gets the gist of the practices but needs a place to start for implementing?

Anybody who's done something like the above knows that the early morning workout is the ignitor that gets you on track, syncs your circadian rhythm, etc. When you sleep in etc, that's when you start to get low energy and lethargic

They're prob gonna join local gambling underground circles though. So that money goes to those peeps instead of being concentrated and hopefully the gov uses it for a better net on society

What do you like about what you do? The problem/puzzle solving aspect? Most jobs at a faang are just building some internal tool or something right.

100% agreed, and well put. Tbh on a very quantitative level, our jobs are fantastic. The lack of that visceral satisfaction is real though, and you turn into an automaton after awhile. Do the work, get the pay, etc. You want to quit and mix

100% same on all of what you said, and I'm 29. If you're lucky enough to work in a job where you need to produce each week, but can crank whenever you want - go outside to get at least one long-ish walk/bike ride and also one

Assange, Wikileaks, and Snowden. If these people did the same thing to Russia/Putin or the CCP, they would be gone without a trace right now. It's really sad, these false equivalencies gone wild. Doing something bad or making a mi

Well put. This is the basic argument against these CCP and authoritarian apologists. Most likely they are going by "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" which is a simplistic thing to base your world view on.

Essentially you're wrong because you're drawing a false equivalency between the US and CCP/Russia. Your argument is that because the US has done bad, made mistakes, etc... they are in the same grouping as CCP/Russia. Whi

Nice descriptions. How would you describe SF and the rest of CA? It just seems like it was a beautiful place that a bunch of people wanted to move to. And now there's lots of money there.

Same here. Especially once you've seen all (or a good portion) of all the little niches that exist. The rich socializing, the bar scene, the scrungy clubs, the raves, the food experiences, parks, dating around, building social circles.

I'm not even old, 29. But I feel jaded to go out into that bustle and do that stuff lol. Although hopping around the EV and such bar scene is kinda exciting, the people you will meet and the hot girls.

There's gonna be a strong demand for skilled software engineers. WFH is something that could be a win/win for both parties. Market forces will make companies benefit by offering remote jobs.

Dude their adding/removing songs from the Liked Songs list is ridic haha. They had the heart button right next to where you scroll. It's been idiotic for years. How can a company like that have such an obvious flaw in the UI?
