No, actually i think when Trump gets voted out (most likely) we are going to all see the power of American Democracy on display. Idiot got in who won the vote, and then he got voted out by the people and left without a hitch. No other large

Is Vue faster to learn and get something solid working, than react would be? I have some react experience and understand all of it, but i'm more of a backend engineer.

Yup, a huge fallacy used to push an agenda of "how it really was!" Yes - the world was peaceful until the big bad West came into play. Very bad people! Lol. The reality is as you lay above. Constantly clashes for resources and lan

Probably wherever you arbitrarily draw the line of substantial or minimal effect. If you plotted the "effects" of every single consumeable thing on a graph. There would prob be a noticeable trough in the middle, and that would be

I think one of the biggest fallacies is that alcohol "shows who the person really is". It definitely loosens you up, to a point. Maybe 3-8 drinks in it is definitely closer to "the true self". But in large amounts it def

Damn 3-4 hours would prob be too much. Maybe you go to the city for a week at a time for work. 1-2hrs is reasonable for a shoot into the city. I think this will become very popular.

Why, because it's super cheap? And how long is the commute into the city? I think this is how it's going to be in America soon.

Pretty naive to not understand the concept of allowing these terrorists to operate abroad allows them to more easily coordinate and carry-out attacks in the US, but especially in Europe.

Yeah, I am thinking this is because there's no way for Tesla to really lock people into their system - unlike big tech. Other manufacturers have the mechanical tech, the software tech may not be as differentiating, and the battery tech

What are the benefits to 4k for coding? I find my 31.5" to be almost a bit too bit for dev. So far I like 2 x 24" 1080p's.

You're saying that riding the train of being a very solid generalist doesn't work past a certain age? It may not be exciting, but don't you think there are lots of 45-55 year old Java backend engineers that get paid pretty de

Distributed would basically mean that a good portion of the core logic of the system is executed across multiple entities. So it can be scaled by simply adding more nodes. This is a specific niche, and engineers gain experience in that spec
