"We write code that is handed to a compiler, and the compiler takes that code and generates assembly code that will accomplish whatever the C code tells it to." Uhhhh....

Civil lawsuits come down to just one thing in this country: MONEY. Not the law, not what is right or who has been virtuous. Just money. Or more specifically: who has the money. If you are poor and you sue someone who is rich, they control t

I hope I helped some and I appreciate the feedback, and apologize, for the leaps I made. If your professionalism is beyond reproach and they are calling people 'cowards' and not paying the full amount, a few things are true. 1. Yo

I agree with you. I think the reason AI hasn't made anything but derivatives is in part because machines are not sentient. 100% of AI is machine learning, there is no heart or conscience. However art is anything that moves you and the

What I mean is a variation of all of the above. Transparency, an open license, collaboration, distribution, best practices and more. Clearly I do not expect districts to independently inspect and verify source code any more that we are insp

Your last point about the 'insane amount of individual votes' is really the whole problem. In Europe, as I understand it, you vote for a single person and that person does the rest of the voting for your area. I'm sorry if I
