After that, I made toast, and found that toast is much better when made in an actual oven (400°) as opposed to a toaster or toaster oven.

That's where I stand. I want a small government, and I think it's crazy that a government as hulking as ours doesn't provide something as essential as healthcare. On the other hand, I'm against social security and think that a general welfa

For impatient types like myself: Proposed flaw #1: That is basically the first flaw of libertarianism: If you shrink the government down to nothing and have corporations in control then you won’t have a rule of law. Proposed flaw #2: Tha

Inbreeding is not interbreeding. Inbreeding is an accepted term, as in a people being "inbred." But I've had enough, you're clearly coming from a point of ignorance and are just frivolously debating now.

And the first result for the second search has the title, "Can humans mate with other animals?" I rest my case. Edit: Also, Google result tallies for individual search terms is crap evidence, just so you know. If you're going to gather evid

By "animals," I mean that one would only use the term "interbreeding" when referring to wild or domesticated animals mating. It's an inherently zoologic term, much like the word "mating."

Since when does "miscegenation" have racist overtones? It's a very common term in history and sociology and is the accepted term to refer to the mixing of races. It's certainly better than "interbreeding."

Yes, the image would work just as well. Now try generating that image on the fly for 1000 product pages, for instance. sIFR draws content from HTML, making it far more flexible. I very easily implemented Trajan Pro product titles for an art

I'm disgusted that they would use a term like "interbreeding" as though they were referring to animals. The correct word is "miscegenation."

sIFR degrades gracefully and is accessible. I recommend that you read up on sIFR before recoiling in "no, it's FLASH!" horror. And yes, typography is important in design.

I'm not the most religious guy, but I think that posting ads stating that THERE'S PROBABLY NO GOD is probably a good way to get Him to show up in interesting ways in the responsible parties' lives. Also, I find it lame that anti-religious

That style of plane is best for speed and accuracy. A plane built to glide will travel farther. I used to invent paper airplanes as a kid, and I found that ones beginning with the cross-folds (more likely to balance) and broad wings yielded

Hyperbole and invective are the domains of politicians who use them to great effect. No need for it in a balanced press (wishful thinking).

It's called "yellow journalism." This crap sells right now, and the major news outlets are all over it. Remember all of the "dirty bomb" fearmongering a few years ago?

Take a loan. If you can't, go work and save money until you can at least take night classes. This is how everyone does it. "I'll tighten my belt before I beg for help" is one rap lyric (Hov') I can really identify with. Life is much better

I wouldn't install Amarok (avoid loading Qt in Gnome and vice versa). RhythmBox does not handle an iPod well if that matters for you, but Banshee does. Banshee relies on Mono. Zim is a little-known note-taking tool that relies on text files

MERCOSUR and the EU predictably come to mind. The US, I think, treats Canada and Mexico very differently from other nations (being a neighbor); North America is fairly unified. The US doesn't hold up its non-interventionist/isolationist end
