YouTube Premium? Paying for YouTube is the best decision I've ever made when it comes to how much time and frustration I've saved per dollar.

As a long time Fedora user I agree that this is a good basic choice that gives beginners something intuitive and won't get in the way of anybody else who knows enough to have a preference. I can cope in vi(m) but I always install nano

Really dislike these things. Hoping that we eventually get a good browser extension that handles them automatically.

I'm sure there are many passages that people can point to in the Bible that can be quite fairly charged with being unhelpful or morally objectionable - for example those that relate to what fathers should do to daughters who act out in

Zotero is a lifesaver for organising articles and documents. I also pay for storage as a way to support the project. Their new web-client is quite nice.

I think an important difference between sugary drinks and heroin is that there is an easy sugar-free alternative that people might swap to more often if it was cheaper.

They just use the native picker, which is often a very reasonable choice, but presents problems. For example, I might want to use 24-hour time in an application (e.g. emergency services logistics) and not all browsers will permit this.

The component I always look for in these libraries is a date picker (and also a time picker). I've never found one that actually works well on desktop and mobile and can be used with a keyboard.

I think the suggestion here is: if you are in a position to leave your job, and you do not, then than is implicit support for your employer.

I'm unsure that any of these students wanted to take their AP exams on their phone or computer. That this is a new problem suggests that this is something they've been newly forced to deal with. It's certainly not a well en

Don't be so easily discouraged! I think there's a distinction between understanding and learning a language. In this case, it helps to understand Erlang in order to learn Elixir. Just like you're eventually going to need to b

Asking for "the advantage" is probably not quite the right question. Different toolbox, different tools, for different solutions to different jobs. Elixir runs on the Erlang VM, is functional, has a Ruby-like syntax.
