The adverb correctly identifies that it’s more complicated than that. The fantasy that “biological reality” is anything other than substantially more complicated and messy than a neat dichotomy with perfect alignment across sex characteris

The article is about DockerHub, not Docker. Containers aren’t the only solution to every problem but they’re a decent hammer for a lot of nails.

Well, by their own amount of events they have and are - they’ve changed their default registry. If Docker advertises an open source program, it’s completely fair to be critical if they’re not delivering as advertised.

Our team has access to multiple systems that either have MI250Xs or H100s. Getting stuff to work with AMD/ROCm is substantially more effort than the NVIDIA/CUDA experience. Some of this is lack of groundwork/engineering by pa

Often people believe that they are using the computer when in fact the computer is using them. My first computer was a DOS machine with BASIC. If I wanted to play games I had to write them. No ads. No algorithm. The key lesson is that compu

If we want to be particularly pedantic (and apparently I do)… the process you mention - evaporation - is better classified as a physical process (inter-molecular forces) rather than a chemical process (molecular bonds).

A nitpick, but I think you mean “cues”. Unless you’ve uncovered new evidence of octopi forming overly lines and waiting for their turn?

There are specific courses for blood and needle phobias for medical students. From my understanding they’re mostly exposure therapy. Perhaps also some additional teaching about what be actual (low) risks with exposure are.

Any good resources you can recommend that would show me “the beaten path” for e.g. a todo list where users can selectively share items, or join teams - just a step or two more than the usual “every user gets their own data only”.

Interesting to hear that Couch/Pouch “just work”. I’ve been looking at using them and I find there’s a lot to wrap your head around. In particular for apps where different users should see different sets of shared records.

Isn't that what the pharmacist is for? Pharmacies sell some dumb stuff, but if you actually ask for advice from the person with a license they'd like to keep, you should get some straight talk I'd think.

I haven't used Turbo yet, but Simulus is a great little framework for slapping a bit of JS onto an existing fairly vanilla server side app to add some nice interactive experiences. Have really enjoyed using it recent in my Rails apps.
