It's certainly a spectrum. 1<>1s and vision alignment meetings are super important. Standups too, if that's your thing (I like them, but they must be run well). A lot of other stuff can start to get noisy in my opinion.

As usual: it depends. I don't think you have to drink the hustle koolaid to succeed. I think individual output/hr. follows a power law distribution like most everything else. A lot of younger founders work crazy hours to overcome
