As a non-remote employee, I had to find housing near my office. Now, as a remote employee, my only real requirements are a power source and internet connection. Sure, I have to live somewhere, but that need isn’t a result of my employment.

My experience with Hetzner was mixed. Great pricing, pretty quick to recover from problems, but the problems were frequent. They're not great about maintaining good availability. I would definitely consider using them again for any pro

Little choice? There is a wide spectrum of choices for higher-education in the US. While I think the idea that everybody should go to college is fundamentally harmful, I do think that everybody who wants to should be able to go to college.
