You can disable it (I think) by opening `chrome://flags/` on Chrome, searching for "Side search" feature.

I like you.com search better, as their reddit app yields less fussy results than the reddit search itself and i normally don't have to append reddit at the end of my query.

there is a simple solution for that. Search for '!g {your_query}' in you.com and boom, you'll be taken to google. They introduced that feature here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScDcj-hX5ns
