There seems to be a lot of comments asking about the quality of this piece. I read through this the last time it was posted to HN, and I just have to say that this is the perfect balance of having enough detail to understand how things wo

Invision is great for prototyping a general work flow, how the user moves from screen to screen, but it's not designed around building individual interactions. You upload a bunch of screenshots and create clickable areas that link to a

I've generally seen tools like Balsamiq and Invision used for the app flow and tools like Framer and Origami used for micro-interactions. I would, however, like to see something that blends the two well, but maybe that just doesn'

That's fantastic. I can't imagine how much work has gone into this project. I'm excited to see what this does for the adoption of Origami. Are there any personal stories from the process you're able to share?

I'm really curious how this was built. Quartz Composer got a lot of things right, but it's showing it's age. Was this rebuilt from the ground up?

To be fair, the new phones are supposed to have MUCH higher accuracy in tracking which is necessary to make it feel like you're actually THERE (what's generally referred to in VR as "presence"). The Samsung phones work a

Just for some clarification on the VR side, the Vive is a partnership product between them and HTC. Valve did the R&D, and HTC did the manufacturing, adnd Valve helped Oculus get things off the ground as well. I'm not a gamer, so I

Why is this emulator so well organized and polished compared to some other emulator projects? They do such great technical write ups, but I'd love to see one about how they manage the project.

First off, I want to reiterate that I'm most excited about the lighthouse tracking system, it fits well with projects where I'd like to apply tracking, but my main objection is to your comment that it's an objectively superio

First off, I'm a huge fan of the lighthouse tracking system, and I'm looking forward to them opening it so I can use it in other projects. I do think it has some elegance to it. That being said, it's not necessarily "sup

There seem to be a lot of questions on what a light field is. Lytro just put up a great blog post that gives a good introduction to them http://blog.lytro.com/post/132599659620/what-is-light-field
