This is technically already the case for many games already. For example for EasyAntiCheat, the EAC kernel module won't be loaded unless you join a server with EAC enabled.

Imagine you are coding in your IDE and it suggests you a feature because someone mentioned it yesterday on #app-eng channel. Needs deeper context, though. About order of events, an how authoritative a character is.

A future in which YouTube will refuse to stream you data because you didn't pass client attestation is definitely coming and I wish we could stop it. It is a dark future where some of us will accept it, and rest of us will be constantl

I am glad they prioritize and look out for their own. That's how it should be. Not everywhere needs to be in love with globalism. And yes, I would say the same should be the case in other places as well.

I think so too and the drop in the quality of agency, intent and attention from earlier GPTs was palpable. Clearly something was lobotomized and it is through RLHF. People like to attribute it to novelty wearing off or more and more interac

I'd believe it. Many years ago when I was around 10 years old and not understanding the concept of probability properly, I decided I had come up with a way to enumerate the lottery numbers and come up with a reasonably sized set of num

I am surprised VGUI browser shares cookies across Steam accounts. When I log out of my Steam account, switch to another one, launch the same game, I would have expected an entirely different datastore to be used for the VGUI browser.

Also harder to discern and then quantify the loudness of a sound or brightness of a light as a human modem but we are better and more certain of the color. We have different names for the ranges and everything.
