You're the second person to ask that. Can I ask why you think Juarez would work? Not trying to be mocking, just curious if its a regional thing that explains it or something else. That Warez = wares with a Z for cool factor was self ev

I consider the demoscene style, tracker produced music a distinct genre from "chiptune". To me chiptune is mostly about recreating the sound and feel of vintage console games from the 80's and early 90's. Producers put a

Those aren't general purpose compute devices. But the legislation shouldn't compel Apple to support arbitrary software. Simply to not prevent its use on the hardware they sell. So T2 has to go. Just like how the upcoming right to

Beating the integrated graphics in an i7 is nothing, especially on the older chips. Intel integrated has never been about performance. It really isn't saying much when comparing to the 10th gen chips. They use the old Iris graphics. Ap

You can easily achieve this with a thermostat wired to the compressor. Its fully hardware based, analog and is perfectly capable of maintaining a specified temp range. This is how it was done for decades and it worked fine.

My assumption on this site is that most people talk from the perspective of devs. So I assume your experience with Microsoft's documentation is also on the dev side of things. I can't speak to that, I'm a sys admin so I have

Calling it the collapse of science is definitely hyperbole, science is a method of falsification, it can't "collapse". What is at risk is established academia and society's trust in the institution. The replication crisi

They didn't at any point say the scientific method. And I'm pretty sure that's intentional because there is nothing inherently wrong with the scientific method. The problem is with the processes we have built around modern ac

Science has also been used to justify some pretty terrible things. And that is their point, humans are the corrupting force here. Taking a framework and then using it to justify whatever they want. The scientific method is not uniquely immu

Pierre Spray is also a luddite who vehemently rejects the concept of a multirole fighter. The F-16 he advocated for is not anywhere close to the actual F-16. If it were up to him the USAF fighter force would consist of low tech pure dogfigh

Can we just stop using browsers as a framework for desktop applications? That's not what they are meant for. Electron and everything like it is the ultimate expression of developer laziness.
