I mean, I'm salary, so I get paid for on-call as part of that, but I don't get any extra pay for picking up my team's on-call rotation.

You help them out. They aren't on your team, but you're both on the larger team of your employer. You mentor them the same way you would someone on your team.

It is poor form to condemn someone from asking a question. Thank you for providing the information to clear up ignorance though.

This is awesome. I've been passively looking for a Stumbleupon replacement, but never stumble upon it. Thank you for posting here. You have given me back a slice of old internet.

That's it... I'm not buying a car with any internet connection unless I can rip it out. And every day that's going to get harder. Guess I'll stick with old Kai Vans...

I've been meaning to get back on the RSS wagon. I ran TT-RSS some years ago and it fell apart at one time due to my lack of time to maintain it. Is TT-RSS still the go-to, or is there something else I should take a look at?

Sling a "Mothership" out there, undock the lander from mothership, land it, eject a couple flying drones to pick up the samples and pack them in the "mars-to-mothership-craft". Launch "mars-to-mothership-craft"

I love Swarm and don't see the appeal of K8s when something as simple as Swarm exists. I do however run K8s in prod for work and would never run Swarm in prod due to Docker seeming to have its days numbered. Idk where that leaves us as

Isn't native C/C++? I'd expect C to run the best due to it being compiled. JS is pretty quick, but we're talking a microcontroller, so any speed you can pickup by reducing computation cycles is a win. Easiest/better
