Hey, this is a cool project, keep it up. Finding gametimes on the NBA website is a PITA. My only suggestion would be to allow filtering by team (or geolocate based on IP and filter for me automatically). I'm assuming most visitors are inter

Cool product! Congrats on launching. I can think of several companies off the top of my head who should implement this yesterday. But I have to take issue with the price point. $3 a month? If you're doing it for fun, make it free. Otherwise

Just FYI, on the register pages ( http://put.io/register/BASIC ) you display the SSL Verified seal but the form isn't actually sent via SSL. You might want to fix that.

As with all things, it's not so black and white. I know it's popular to hate on venture funding here on HN, but the industry exists for a reason. There are certain business models that only work at scale, and in the meantime must be support

Let me get this straight -- my grandma has to get a Dropbox (what's that?), download a templated page, fill it her own images, and then figure out how to publish it? Also, there are a lot easier ways out there to publish your own content on

Where'd you get a hold of that? If that's actually their board minutes (and it looks like it is) it could be quite damaging to post it in a public forum like this.

This is an interesting idea I'd like to see expanded beyond the health space. Not sure if Hackathon is the right term anymore. Investathon? I can see it now. A panel of computer geeks in skinny jeans grills a lineup of white-haired VCs abou

If someone could reliably define that you need so much of X, Y, Z factors to be the next Facebook, Google, Dropbox, or even Instagram, they would build a factory to build companies that print money. Pretty much YC in a nutshell.

Currently there is no sorting, all the jobs are in the same order they were posted on the WhoIsHiring thread. Just some basic form validation when submitting new jobs.

I know HN is full of Quora-haters but, for me, answers like this are a real treat to read and will keep me coming back to the site. IMO there is currently no other platform on the internet that could provide this sort of exchange of knowled

Hopefully their newfound time won't lead to unnecessary bloat for what is currently a beautiful framework. Keep it simple, keep it small, keep it clean.

This guy didn't shatter anything. It's basically a big advertisement for his services. Those of us on the ground know there is a real shortage due to the current tech boom.

I agree with you, there is still a lot for Pinterest to figure out. But if you are an early investor and don't believe in the company's future, there are many others who would be happy to buy up your Pinterest shares on the secondary market

Google Glass are the least conspicous item in the outfits! Seriously, they've done a really nice job of slimming them down. I walked by Sergey in Palo Alto last week and barely even noticed that he was wearing them.

I would love to see this. Some of the most interesting (and educational) stories that come out of TechCrunch are those with the "deadpool" tag. Unfortunately these posts are rare, with writers more likely to cover financings or acquisitions

Early Reports indicate that App.net is not generating very much user engagement. In fact, most of their 10,000 daily posts come from about 250 users, a far shot from Twitter’s 150 million users and 350 million tweets. That's not a fair co

I wonder what impact all this Twitter-hate is having on Twitter's HR department. I say this because I don't think shutting off third-party clients will hurt the company that much. If it makes it difficult to attract the best talent, that's

Google had asked for $4,030,669, but the judge cut it back, denying the part that was for the work done by the ediscovery vendor. Truthfully, I've never seen a bill of costs that was not cut back, but the bottom line is, Oracle has to pay
