In cases where I had issues, printing anything would not help. Once, they said that I haven't paid airline luggage fee for my bike. Showing them emails with confirmation or bank transfer did nothing. Second, my luggage was missing on a

I recently encountered this when developing for atmel attiny13a, that has 1KB memory for code. I found that my code somehow cannot fit. Then found that just one line takes around 100 bytes. Insane! After some experiments, I remembered uni

I am not sure how management can be compared to agile. It is apples vs oranges. Management often means intolerable beraucracy, snail pace and huge amount of useless reports and other never read docs. Agile is just an approach that tries

It is not precious if you don't run LLMs or play games. For many people like myself, video card is idle most of the time. Using its ram to speed-up compilation or similar is not a bad idea.

And what does work? Agile certainly works, I see how people around me are finishing projects and customers are happy.

"They've taken pirated content and they're selling it as their own." - not true. Maybe unethical, but certainly LLMs are not same as their training data. Hate when people think they can twist truth like this.

Far has many nice plugins and features, that's why I prefer it. MC is still awesome, sure.

Lawless or lawful? I don't understand why people hate crawlers that much. I understand arguments about ones that violate robots.txt, but not correct ones.

By the way, FAR manager was ported to Linux quite a long time ago, but I forgot about it. Recently I remembered and installed it. Not too hard to install (although you need to use third party repos sometimes). And then - voila - a lot of c

Amazfit bip was nice, but I encountered a bug with GPS data loss too often. That is the price of the cheap Chinese product, I guess. So, when my Bip have been damaged, I decided to buy Garmin for 250€ instead. So far, it works well.

So similar to democracy vs authoritarianism argument. If I live in Europe, why should I care that Russia is a dictatorship? Because it affects my life, and can be fatal even, thats why.

I think quite large reason is Putin's wishes to leave "legacy" and to continue holding power. He certainly is obsessed with power and the idea that Russia has own way and he is the one to lead it in this way.

For me, Windows is thousand years ahead in this regard. I download software, and run it. And it works 99.9% of the time. Yes, I have a chance of getting a virus. Happened one time in 30 years I'm using Windows. (More in DOS times). Lin
