You have a person to reach out to if things go pear shaped, and N(weeks|months) to sort out payments issues instead of having everything get suspended by robots.

by thematrixturtle 4y ago
Yup. What exactly was the earlier problem? Why did you need assurances that projects would not be suspended in the first place?

DNS dates from 1983 and we're stuck with its limitations, but the GP is building a new system.

Because fuck those people who want to use non-English names, amirite? Seriously, it's 2022, we have better solutions than ASCII by now. And for what it's worthful, even in ASCII some chars like l, I and 1 are quite confusable.

I hate to interrupt a good rant, but Lego has a site literally called https://ideas.lego.com/ where they crowdsource new designs, and the most popular ones actually get turned into real Lego sets. Of course custom hardware

No, because the merge in itself does not create new value, it simply splits existing value in two. So 1 old PoW ETH today will be worth (say) 0.9 PoS ETH and 0.1 PoW ETH tomorrow. To be clear, that's the theory, reality is a little mo

The books present "Pa" as a hero, but if you look at him with a critical eye (as Fraser's book does), it's pretty clear the family's woes were largely due to him. Their original farm was by all accounts the best of

That's also because the shortest path is basically a tunnel. They're now building the Chuo maglev, which does take the shortest path and is currently projected at $65 billion and climbing.

A friend from Japan landed at SFO on a Sunday and figured they would take the train to Mountain View. It took them four hours to take one BART to San Bruno, a second to Millbrae and a Caltrain to MV.

This doesn't really answer its own question though. Using human feces as fertilizer is a plausible method of transmission, but if the monks were doing this, surely the villagers were doing it too? Or is the difference that monks were

Interestingly enough, in parts of India, it can be quite difficult to rent an apartment if you're not a vegetarian. (Although this is more an issue of caste than race.)
