They lost almost a billion dollars last year. Doesn't profitability rely on eventually being able to replace drivers with automated systems? I feel sorry for the drivers at that hotel.

Surprised me too! Only reason I can think of is that the real enthusiasts bought them early on. Now, most people buy them because they want a 'sports car'; only 10% are actual enthusiasts.

The police are enforcing the helmet law in San Diego (300 dollar ticket). I think the convenience factor is diminished when you are forced to lug around a helmet.

You mentioned them hanging out at restaurants. I think malls are reinventing themselves into destinations for high end cuisine more than retail. This is a place where people go to see and be seen, no better place for that than a bar/re

Is having your VIN displayed a security risk now? These thefts could have been prevented if the VIN wasn't visible; not saying it wouldn't have been possible just a bit more difficult.
