This is probably a decade old based on the source code.

I understand that point, I know you can't use the certificate on another domain by design. I'm just curious why you wouldn't issue a certificate to your CDN signed with your domain as well. It's something that bothers me

I was confused why you'd use a popup in this case, then I looked at the source and realized this has to be at least a decade old.

Can you go into why that is? I've never fully understood it myself.

True, but I do think experience has a lot to do with the equation there. Pretty much all insurances are based on the chance of payout but I don't know if that should apply to the prices of things like physical goods or in this case air

I hate to be that guy but should we be charging people more (effectively punishing them) for something outside of their control? Sure it may be "fair" in terms of economics, but it's a slippery ethical and moral slope if I&#x

It was obvious from reading the story that there was more to it. The hurt and pain caused is of course awful but leaving out this sort of information is disingenuous and makes this piece essentially propaganda when it didn't need to be

If you app has sections (say...a news app) this actually is a big issue. Not every app is about sharing photos.

The catch is a pretty big deal, and by deal I mean a deal breaker for me. Why do I have to share something back with someone in order to see what they've shared back at me? I understand it's great for engagement but who would use

It's almost out of a movie. One of your larger national companies is being extorted and you fail to follow the people doing so? It also had to be a pretty big vulnerability for them to have to pay that much in the first place.

Its not always a bad choice. For example, I use it for caching built JSON for requests when a less than reliable API goes down. I can now serve up the cached response for the view without rebuilding it and let the user know we're still

As someone with a Windows Phone, I was excited to hear my local Starbucks had installed wireless charging last year and went to try it. Unfortunately it is PowerMat, something I've never seen anyone have. Seems like Duracell (they are

As a developer working in the information industry in Boston, its like pulling teeth to get the MBTA to even respond to you. I'm blown away and inspired by the work done here. Well done to the authors and hopefully we can see some impr

My instinct told me what the article is claiming, but there just aren't any other compelling alternatives that will surface the content and serve as a solid navigation on many small screen devices. We're still in infancy on small

I work in a news organization. Seating is scarce, the environment is loud and distracting, and going on vacation means you just might be moved to a new desk when you return. Fortunately as a developer my computer is off limits to most but t

I'm a fan of how my Windows Phone does it in 8.1 It gives me the option between mobile or desktop identification to sites, but then also gives me the option to use a Readability like function and constrict the content down so I don

This is great, but it'd be far better if I could put in multiple ones and get out a sprite sheet. I'll take a look at the repo to see if this is possible.

They're in entirely different markets. The Surface is an ultra portable laptop that can act as a tablet or also do desktop things while the iPad is a tablet and can only do tablet things.

This was my first thought as well. However...aren't we going to run out of names eventually for projects? Unless we all start making words up which defeats the purpose of a memorable named (unless you're Google).

Citi Student Loan website maxes out at 6 or 7 characters and is utter garbage on top of that. Worst case though, someone could pay my student loans for me I guess.
