Not OP but you find a lot of these kinds of setups on Reddit. Check out /r/homelab if you’re interested. Even crazier is /r/homedatacenter where you’ll find dudes with full tape libraries and everything. Super interestin

I prefer python as well. It has some built in caching that makes DP problems trivial at times.

Your courses in Java and python were some of my first introductions to programming in middle school and I now work as a full time software engineer. Thank you sincerely for all your contributions. I hope codecademy continues to flourish.

Can anyone recommend hardware for this? I have a cheap powered USB switch from Amazon I was using but it’s been giving me stuttering issues with my mouse which is a nonstarter for use with a gaming desktop. I’ve also had to unplug and reply

Pretty sure he does. The offices in “The Hustle” looks exactly like an Amazon building.

Windows 11 has some nice window management features like this built in, but I’ve found the windows power toys fancy zones to be even better. This works for all graphics cards.

He’s also the only YouTuber I’ve ever bought something from. He does a great job of using the things he sells in videos to demonstrate their value and he’s not overly pushy about it like many other creators. He’ll simply mention that the to

Don’t most people just spam right arrow to skip through sponsor segments anyway? For me, sponsorblock just automates this process. As others mentioned, it’s pretty granule and has a lot of options for things like intros, intermissions, etc

The Moonlander is another recent option. Had mine for a few months and absolutely love it but it’s also my first split so not much for me to compare to.

I do this as well with a mayflash sensor bar. Dolphin also works for rock band and guitar hero which has been pretty fun.

Luckily those tiles can be removed from the start bar in Windows 10 via the right click menu, but I agree it is an annoying default behavior.

This is also pretty common in video games where a mirror is just a window into another room with a duplicate player model.

This depends highly on the bank. From what I’ve read, an overwhelming majority of banks don’t offer any kind of API for transaction data so Plaid is just storing your password, impersonating you, and web scraping your transaction data. This

I’ve found react to be an outlier in this regard. The React docs are phenomenal and in combination with create-react-app it’s super easy to start up a new project. I can’t say the same about the majority of other frameworks I’ve encountered

Mopidy is also a good option. The iris frontend is quite nice. I’ve been using it with icecast to send streams to my chromecast devices, but it also works well with Snapcast.

I’ll second the suggestion for the Mighty. It’s a fantastic vape. I’ve also heard the Crafty is quite good if you want something a little smaller. Prior to the Mighty I had a Pax 3, which worked quite well but the hits off the Mighty are mu

I’ve never used an asus laptop, but I’ve had a really bad time with their customer support when trying to get a motherboard replaced under warranty.

Even better, some kind of configuration that accepts a range of values and then generates a model. Dactyl keyboards work this way https://github.com/adereth/dactyl-keyboard

Vaccinations are most effective if we reach herd immunity, which requires others to get vaccinated. The safety is not “perceived”, it’s scientifically verified by tracking hospitalization and death rates as it’s been rolled out at a global

I’ve been working on using k3s for my home cluster for this exact reason. I run it in a vm on top of proxmox, using packer, terraform, and ansible to deploy. My thought process here is that if I ever want to introduce more nodes or switch t

Thinkpads have served me pretty well, mostly for Linux though I do dual boot. A bit pricey new, but lots of options in the used market since businesses buy new ones all the time. Lenovo has had some controversy, but never with the Thinkpad

Microsoft used to provide offices but has been slowly doing away with them in favor of open office spaces. From what I understand, any new buildings they construct are designed around open offices.
