Not all of the patents are FRAND licensing related! See my answer in the other comment

Everybody is saying that these are all FRAND patents but that is simply not true. Yes some of the patents in question are related to UTMS. However, Samsung also has other patent claims including: -"A method for dialing a phone number in a s

I've got Jelly Bean running on my GNex and I think the new UI is much nicer. This review spends a lot of time nitpicking the buttons, and the blown up pictures do make them look a little off. But I don't notice it all when using the phone.

That is clearly untrue. When Apple wanted to make a phone they made their ecosystem a jail cell. When Google was in the same position and wanted to make a phone, they started the Open Handset Alliance, and developed free software for manufa

Thanks for your response, and no it was not a troll but a serious (albeit naive) question. Thank you for answering my question with good references and very respectfully. I actually do know a fair amount about Arduino and I should have put

I think that some people need to stop their blind love of Apple products and take a step back and look at how unethically Apple is behaving in some of these cases. Just because you think your gadgets are sexy and cool doesn't mean Apple can

These patent wars don't help anyone but Apple, and directly hurts consumers. I don't think this is what anyone wants. It actually sickens me to see the law enacted in this way. I really hope this comes back to bit Apple in the ass. It seems

I completely agree with you ars, Apple is getting totally out of hand. They are becoming what Microsoft was in the 90's and it absolutely sickens me. Consumers have the right to choose what products they want to buy. I have been slowly swit

I think that this could be the hero that Bitcoin needs. If they make it super simple / super clean they could revolutionize Bitcoin. To the creators, have you considered adding a USD (or other currency) funding option? Since getting the Bit

I think you are exactly right. Why pay thousands of dollars for operating system features that are either unstable or unnecessary, when you can use Linux for free and usual make it do exactly what you want. I think that things like Raspberr

I think you are outright wrong. There is nothing "predatory" about the pricing. And your BMW example doesn't make sense unless BMW has figured out some way to earn a ROI on the free scooters. I would say Android (Google) is acting more like
