Same, but with rclone. My bill is <1$/m. Love it.

Some libraries behaviour/API can be tweaked with env var. env var are read at runtime not loading time.

Yes but the idea is that competition should help the economy in surfacing "good ideas". If competition leads to acquisition all the time, then really there isn't much benefit to the overall economy.

Probably something like (1) Scammer sends check / something like that, showing a larger than expected deposit (2) Check is cached by victim (3) Victim is asked to reimburse the difference using Zelle or other "irreversible" m

In HPC it's common to do a mix of MPI (message-passing / distributed memory) and OpenMP (shared memory) parallelism when running on big multicore (and obviously multi-node) machines. It helps with locality, among other things.

Yes, but not all thread in the block need to. As long as you fill a cache line you’re good.

AI training requires a lot of global reductions which must be very fast otherwise everything slows down. So they also require fast and low latency interconnects.

The solution is to install the latest CUDA driver (which is always 100% backward compatible) but have multiple version of the libraries in /usr/local. Granted it can get messy with various package manager doing their own things.

Sure if that’s what you meant, then yeah. Imho that’s a weird way to put it. You can renew indefinitely with an approved I140, btw (typical for backlogged Indians) (not that this doesn’t suck).

> The H1B terminates in a green card, after six years, quota willing. In fact, you don’t get an option in the matter. What? Most do, because usually people want to stay. But H1B does not “terminate in a green card” and you 100% have an

Same opinion. I have little/no exposure to compilers (yes I know, maybe I'm not the right target) and tried to follow Toy and had to resort to a lot of wikipedia/google just to understand the concepts and terms. And after fin

FFT is memory bound (it’s N log N flops for N bytes, so little arithmetic). GPU HBM is much faster than DRAM, so generally it’s much faster on GPU.

TN is useful, but not _that_ useful if you eventually want to get a Green card. And GC quotas are based on place of birth.

Looks nice and easy to clean. I don't know why the regular "Target car seats" have so many creases and folded layers, it's a major PITA to clean :)

I mean, yes but also no. JAX will JIT on accelerators OOTB and has outstanding (imho) support for multi node. Julia does not have that OOTB AFAIK. Now I agree that Julia, with its JIT, is well positioned to do all this. But I don’t think it

If you’re already in the US and eventually want a GC (typical Us graduate), both of those are not very good option and H1-B is better bc of its dual intent.

Being dual-intent just means when you arrive (ie, when you cross the border, the first time or anytime after), you can't have immigrant intent at that time . Once you're in, if you eventually (genuinely) change your mind, that&#x
