I wonder if the app is asking for permission to do it. If not, in my neighbourhood we call it "spyware". Seriously, it is a clever idea but I hope they are doing the right thing and asking the user for approval.

Good point, I do not either what he meant. I think importance would be difficult to measure, but volume growth would be easy for Google to do. I imagine that Schmidt is not talking blindly, he has access to the growth rates of content and t

I like the ranked feed and I like to have an option to see it unranked (as live feed). I wonder if FB has an option to set the default to either rank/unranked. In the past many of my friends have these annoying applications that fortunatel

I always thought (until some years ago) that Red Hat would do what Ubuntu (or Canonical) has done to bring a friendly Linux Desktop to "normal" users.

I agree with lazy but dumb I do not think so. In fact I think that good programmers are lazy and smart.

HDTV and PC vendors will converge to a similar product. In Europe the iniciative is called Hybrid Broadcast Broadband ( http://www.hbbtv.org/ ). One of the pushers I think is the BBC.

I will keep using Chromium (and manual updates if necessary) until Google releases an official beta. I do not why but I trust more in the developers in Chromiun that in Google itself.

I tried the "magic" and at least I feel that it is more fun to read. News are not sorted by date any more, which it gives me some "feeling" of randomness reading that I like. The new sorted news "seems" to be ranked according to my previous

You can use Arduino. These gadgets are quite good and not very expensive, I have seen pretty clever hack projects using them (GPS, Lego Mind Storms, webserver, etc.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arduino I think you can use an arduino boar
