This is great advice. I don't know about other countries but Germany does have a severe "specialist" fetish when it comes to recruiting IT professionals. Less severe for permanent positions but very painfully apparent for con

Agreed. But I would like to add that there are also numerous UX pitfalls that apps fall into that are trivially solvable on the web. Broadly: - deeplinking (while technically doable it is still a pita to set up cross platform and require ju

Sounds like something very fixable though. Why is it so difficult for apple to fix the "engineering mistake" and move the PWA process to a less privileged user or even a jail?

Another aspect of this might be what I'm experiencing. I'm currently increasingly often confronted with overly bloated codebases that, with the added speed of llms / coding assistants, have reached levels of unmaintainability

Cool idea. Stuff like this reminds me why I like the vim ecosystem so much. At least since the introduction of terminal buffers, most people I know that use vim for serious code work have a form of "send text under cursor to shell"

Can't such issues be solved by having something like a helm chart with meaningful scaling cofigs provider? Nexclozlud dies somthing like this and it makes scaling the cluster a breeze.

Probably. The biggest blind spot internal auditors have is things that didn't leave a paper trail. It is too common that such investigations don't even start because there is just one connecting piece of evidence missing. Leave a

The article talks about how this one fungus found in the depths of the sea can break down PE (polyethylene) plastics. The biggest problem with combating ocean plastic is deployment of any solution. The seas are vast and trash, while a huge
