One of first things I do when I set up a new iThing is to delete the calculator app and install a third-party calculator.

Yeah, no. I'm not only using containers to deploy my VPSes. Thank you for trying. P.S. at least use something declarative and provider-agnostic like terraform.

Were you born to annoy people? I don’t call and it’s not for the reason you suggest, but because I won’t talk to an automaton once then endure multiple calls and emails trying to sell me their offering. I’ve been down that road enough times

Show me the high price on a web page so I can go "that's too much for this stingy old grump" rather than making me talk to one of your sales minions.

How is it belittling when I told you I'm that way too. What I'll actually cut out is responding. Good luck with your bugs.

Distro matters a lot for kernel regressions. I run arch and so I bump into those once in a blue moon but it's rare. Debian runs older versions so you miss recent bug fixes but at the same time you should see minimal regressions. Pick y

C will always live. I’m not onboard with significant changes to C but the language will always be around at the interface between hardware and software and probably as the lingua franca for FFI.

They put in the effort to create the product. It's their choice how to license it. Now it's up to you whether to sign that CLA to upstream your changes. You're welcome to maintain a fully AGPL fork if you don't like that

And, of course, it starts at 8GB of RAM to nudge you up from $1100 to $1300/$1500. At which point you might as well spring for the Pro. I can't fault the business logic but as someone who'd only use a Mac for occasional iOS d
