The deque collection was this efficient. Allocated blocks based on pagesize (4k). A truly beautiful data structure and one of the few good reasons to use stl.

I have a closed source proprietary database that I wish I did not have to manage. I pushed for the open source but CTO didn't trust that there would not be a long development tail (it probably would) since there were few good options

Thanks I learned something new. Its not general purpose and has some strict limitations. As usual this seems to skip concepts like quality/status of sensor (maybe qnan can be used as a sort of sentinel value) but is interesting newer

Agree completely for Android. I've used Focus since it came out and set as primary browser because it is so light. It works great from Materialistic (HN Reader) and Reddit App or for one time website browsing. It also allows opening

Same here. On 5T. My only issue was lack of security updates in the end. I could try to flash with another distro but too much work with too little gain. Love my 5T even more.

Static has its own issues. GPL vs LGPL forces a lot of apps to dynamic. Also security vulnerabilities in libraries become unpatchable.

I've started notice that things I know sometimes become out of date. The search can then confirm old ways or inform new ways of doing the thing.

In the US, on call/overtime without pay can be mandatory for salaried employees. IT as i recall is called out specifically if you help maintain critical systems. Normally the company just has to be clear on expectations before hand.

Personally prefer ConsoleZ over conemu. Its more stable and does fewer strange things when i last evaluated it. Fluent i guess has better themes support and UWP might be some sort of advantage. https://github.com/cbucher&

Frankly, what you just wrote is what I want to hear in an interview. That you were first and the team grew around you and if mistakes were made how what would you do differently. To me, the company/team talk eats away at the limited t

You are a good person. Money is really good to keep separate though at least for many people I think. I've done similar things like loaned my older brother enough to get through nursing school as he was stocking at Target at 33 and I
