I can only remember a colour if it's a key in the story. Ditto anything spacial - unless it matters, it's gone. Don't ask me what a colour is either, I can only tell if there's something in front of me of that colour,

"none of the above". Without a picture, I have no idea what the difference between a "Shiba Inu" and er a Doberman Pinscher is, except they probably have different texture fur and er ... different sizes, maybe? I rem

Schematic conceptual, and several other modes not listed. I only do verbal with concentration, and never photo. NOT a picture, I'm aphantasiac. Map, maybe, sort of works. But mapping (mathematics concept) works in some ways superior

The "of course" is actually a nod to "it's not the way for many". Or rather, my assumed perspectives don't actually map to other people, and it took me a long time to learn that. It's a very lonely thing

I have total aphantasia. Can't do pictures. I'm still unsure what I'm missing with sounds. Anyway, it was an article like this that made me realize others could do this "visulization" thing, and it wasn't ju

I'm so tired of Albertan exceptionalists grabbing attention. They annoy their neighbours no end (including far too many Albertans I know).

That is a MUCH more interesting answer than I expected. I briefly worked for a company that made AI augmented cameras (OpenCV internally, usually) - some time back.

and how is this distinct from a security camera with OpenCV? (I am curious. Mind, not a field I'm very interested in these days)

Learn more engineering, any structured engineering. Electronics is particularly applicable, but hardly the only field that fits. Learning to find sources of error, how to handle precision and the systems of organization - all help. I'

One of the interesting things of living in Saskatchewan is that due to large portions of the province being offline, video movie rental is still very much alive here, as is videogame rental and other rental formats.

no, it's been status quo since Mulrooney. Wages stagnated back then, and rents continued to rise.

Easy to disprove. 1. who buys USA's milk? USA, largely. Doesn't export enough because doesn't pass standards in most other places. 2. Sex and gender diversity is proven both global and historical. Therefor, something else i

fair. I'm doing this entirely within an IPv4 network and hadn't looked into that yet. However I'd firewall it out of being distributed.

I use IPV6 ULA to deal with this. (IOT link local only connections). Mind, I also ensured scope routing/etc worked, too, as part of the unit test family.

The Bresenham line algorithm was such a breakthrough to me - talk about looking at a differential (partial differential) from an integer view, by a particular axis! Anyway, by extension, approaching a circle using similar is actually &quo

When I was a kid, there was a physical store around Boundary Road in Vancouver BC area/Canada. (or it could have been another name of a store, carrying their products. I was 12 when I moved to the far north!)

Trade was more profitable than raid. Look into the Hanseatic League. Pirates (to go a-Viking was to go a-pirating) became shopkeepers. But they kept up "walk softly and carry a big stick".

All of this was so very inaccessible from North Western Canada. (mind, still is, but Internet makes vast gulfs of space seem so much smaller) When I could get there, Heathkit (~1200km south) or Radio Shack (wow do I ever miss them carrying

Speaking as growing up in Fort St John, BC, sunrise was after school began, and sunset was before school was out - more or less - in the middle of winter. But then, that city (in BC, and nowhere near as far north as that province gets) -
