Underrated joke.

Interesting. I wish something like this aimed to be Roon Ready or like an open source version of what Astell & Kern offer, where people can make their own DAP. As it stands, it's going to be a fun nostalgic device.

Of course LLMs can be intelligent. We've trained billions of humans to be automatons and simply work within the confines of school and work. Never create original thought. Why would a machine not be able to emulate this? The question i

Well I use a Samsung Fold 4 as my daily phone. I want imessage too. I use a cheap iPhone 8 and Mac Mini to get the feature.

Reminder that BlueBubbles and AirMessage both are working and fairly robust. I've used them daily over a year. The downside being that they need a Mac and iPhone to run. But in the spirit of self hosting, you do run the server yourself

I hear you. I needed an analogy that most of the people here would be familiar with and it's the best I had. Agreed it's not the best :)

I remember when it came out and I was like oh neat demo. Is this a 64k or something? Then it clicked. Madness. It's not just beautiful code, it's stylish too.

The Amiga isn't remembered as a technology. It's the ancestor of "Mac vs PC". It's the little computer that could. Where indies would hack cool stuff. It had a well understood spec that didn't change so much, s

This is fearmongering disguised as "just asking questions" and critical thinking. If your concerns were genuine, the answers about the effectiveness of nuclear would be easy to find.

Oh god, I read the whole thread with Bandcamp in mind (I work in music) because of the recent drama and was utterly confused with the replies. Wonder if this happened to others!

Someone who understands they can't make a small email server project that can resist a state-scale adversary, and won't bother with people arguing for that level of privacy.

I use Retroarch daily and have setup multiple remote streaming solutions for myself. I should understand what this is for. Readme is incomprehensible. What's the use case? Is this a web client I self host tp connect to a remote Retroar

Really don't encourage using an external service to use imessage. Giving your apple credentials and also the dependency on Sim cards to make it stable is just trouble waiting to happen. To this day, the best solution for imessage on An

Honestly it's probably just that demoscene minded people see the word and click because of nostalgia and belonging. You'd rather upvote this than an AI link or something about ventures. It's part of our identity :) PS: Amigaa

Neruatypical manager here. First of all, thank you for asking and caring. Though some will see it as singling out or treating them as special needs, it's great that you're showing empathy and being humble that you don't know.

This is a sequel to the old classic Goblins series! 1-3 are considered part of the Golden Era of point and clicks, and compared well with Lucas and Sierra titles. I hadn't seen coverage on 5 on Steam. It's all made by a solo dev i
