Lenovo is the #1 PC manufacturer in the world. Their new keyboards were released in 2011-2012 and they're not garbage at all.

Lenovo Thinkpad. HP Elitebook. Dell Precision/Latitude. Also, most of those can be bough on Ebay for a fraction of the cost. I'm very happy with the value offered by 2 year old laptops.

It's an interesting experiment. The number of patients (15) is very low though, there is no control.. but it's good that people is working on this. Virtual therapy may be a very good choice for people with addiction or phobias. A

You can use AOSP and install the Google Maps apk without Google Play Services. It's a hassle though. I would also like to have more control over what Google does in my Android phone while not losing the ability to install apps easily.

I would learn Java and the JVM if I wanted a language/platform for the long term. Of the five you got there, I would go for Go. Or Clojure as a Lisp. Scala is also a good option.
