They do understand. They don't care. SF is a transient place for many. They stay while it is good and leave when it isn't. They never really get invested in the city.

I am pretty sure you are regardless of the hack. If your Tesla hits someone your at fault not Tesla. Laws would have to change a lot for that not to be the case. In that world, do I even need car insurance or is volkswagen liable? If you&#x

Last time I checked (a year ago), after login, authentication was using MAC address and no encryption is used (not WPA or WPA2). You can easily sniff a MAC address and impersonate a device that is using xinfinty wifi.

Yea, camaraderie would have been nice. Only 2 kids from my high school participated in the program. For financial reasons, I had to fully commit to college and couldn't do part time. Anyway, cool, I really liked the program and think i

Lots of states have programs where you can go to college and earn highschool credit (duel credit). Alternatively, drop out, get a GED and go to college. This hard commits you to finishing college but I have a few friends that did it. I did

Because I want to pay people in the 3rd world to solve them for me. There are a bunch of services that take crypto or PayPal and solve captchas with humans. Using those systems requires you download the image, send to service, get response

Just left Denver. The job market is weak for software developers. The housing is not as expensive as California but the pay vs housing costs is probably worse. Remote gig is better than what is available locally. Expect some hostility if yo

For traditional text captchas, bots are better than humans. Flow usally goes, pay humans to solve 50000 ($500) then train an ML model. For things like recaptcha things get harder because it is not easy to proxy the captcha puzzles to have h

I don't get the point. Plywood isn't exactly light and the fuel used to launch it is not renewable.

House prices went up 10.8% last year. Car prices also increased 10% in the last year. Grocery prices also increased. Hopefully it is temporary, but then again, they might have a point. https://www.fhfa.gov/mobile/Pages&

A long time. You just have to stay ahead of the Mac as that seems to be what all the heavy electron apps are developed on these days. My problem has always been smart phones because I refuse to drop $500+ dollars every 2 years as apps get h

I agree. Servers are cheap compared to people. If we had to endure another large python migration, we would just migrate to a different language with better perf.

Another downside is they are poorly equiped. No cold weather gear, no camping gear, no kid entertainment. Hell, I had one without a jack and ended up waiting four hours for a tow truck to change a flat.

Shanty towns aren't really a "solution". I used to have a park near me. It was nice. Now it is a small tent city. I wish my city cared.

The approval rate for other types of debt are lower. Getting a house loan at 22 is not easy and there is a physical thing to repo in that case.

Fair, I have no evidence they use fingerprinting info for advertising. They definitely cluster fingerprints to block whole groups as does any decent antibot.

Google definitely does browser fingerprinting. I have been running bots for years to collect pricing data. They check your gpu, bunch of stuff from navigator, etc. The only thing I have not seen them do is canvas fingerprinting.

Write software for another 10 years and I bet your opinion will switch. Nits don't produce substantial value to the business or the code base. Add some decent automated tooling and be done with it. That being said, I would have agreed
