His solution to "not using Uber because it's a security nightmare" was literally to bum a ride from someone in the audience who happened to be my friend. He also had this hilarious policy / agreement with ACM to have som

I think more people need to realize that the buzz / bullshit around "startups" in this day and age is used significantly to trick naive noobies / NCG's into working insane hours with sub-par pay and sometimes no ben

I grew up in Austin and I honestly never found the OG Salt Like to be that great... Franklins is good - but I sure as hell wouldn't wait hours in line for their brisket...

The article did mention something around the lines of "the compromised machines could talk to other compromised machines on a network" so I guess the idea is to find a compromised machine close enough to an edge network to reach a

Depends on the stage. If you're super early - and not a founder you'll be expected and might have to work grueling hours (although be aware you'll likely never see those hours turn into $$$). If the company has money, 3-4 mo

Couldn't this all be easily thwarted with a relatively basic firewall and network analysis of traffic emanating from a data-center? Also - I found it funny that the "horrific exploit" was just piggybacking on a mgmt engine vu

If pay started at $10 per hour and you had an incredible amount of staff to find actually talented people, this is maybe a bad idea. If you thought you'd "disrupt" hiring at your small company this could be a solid company-e
