A number of years ago I was internally referred to a role at one of the FAANGs. When speaking with the recruiter or hiring manager they seemed pretty confused at why I was even qualified. Eventually I asked them what address was written at

This is true, and certainly easier than games. Don't worry, I download the FLACs and archive them immediately after purchase anyways. The streaming service is Qobuz. Here's a forum thread of others who found the specific date and

Valve probably has enough leverage to hold it off for a while, but rightholders seem to be trying to close that loophole. A store I previously bought FLACs from emailed me this week that a new Terms of Service comes into force on October 1

Not just you, I haven't seen links to the feature, even when I've gone looking for it, in years. Even the link on archive.is to use Google's cache if the page wasn't already archived hasn't worked in quite a while.

Interesting, thanks for the links, I'll give them a read. Since with the GPS 95 at worse I can pull the battery cell and clear the memory, I should try to see if it's Y2038 compatible (I'm guessing not).

The GPS 95 supported NMEA 0180, 0182, and 0183 up to version 1.5 originally. The GPS 95 XL revision increased the support up to NMEA 0183 version 2.0. With four proprietary extensions, of course. The specimen in the blog post was software u

My unit predates GPS units having street maps, but assuming your TFT version does, I believe there are exporters from Open Street Maps that might be cool to try out?

RS-232 defines the levels, the different signals, and the physical connectors. However, baud rate, parity, stop bits, and the like are at a "level" above RS-232, and so outside its scope.

It's pretty common with configuration or infrastructure as code that a blame brings me to a commit from 5-6 years previous, where I wish to understand why the authors at the time made a specific decision. That is more than enough time
