They are mandated to remove everything that Roskomnadzor blocks from search results. That happened to Smart Voting in September, for example. And it's extremely easy for them to block any website they want.

Sites that do auto translate of original SO threads and pretend that it's their original content are the worst. Google sometimes prefers to give me that results instead of the actual SO thread because I'm not in English-speaking c

Mirroring doesn't deal with this because there's always a single target, elimination of which disrupts the whole system, since some time will pass until yet another person puts a target on his back, and there is the problem of fin

We are not talking about Elon time. They made 237k cars in Q3, and will most certainly close a year with 900k(+-50k) cars produced. With two new fabs coming online in 2022 and growing capacity on existing fabs they will comfortably close 20

1MB is really a lot if you know what you're doing, what language you actually can't fit into 1MB of ram due to inherent specifics of language itself, not because interpreter/compiler doesn't optimize for such cases?

I wouldn't count them off that easily. Valve is making their own autonomous headset, should be out next year. It will be more expensive, yes. But it will be faster and it will be full blown Linux PC with access to whole library of PC g

It looks like Valve is making their own standalone VR headset ,and made Steam Deck along the way to meet minimal amount of orders for custom chip. The chip can deliver 2.5 TFlops if it's clocked like other RDNA2 GPUs, it's almost

Memory bandwidth in w6900x is roughly 500gb/s. In 3090 it's more than 900gb/s. Yet, 3090 performs like 5500M(which is laughable). In M1 Max bandwidth is 400gb/s(but there is 200gb/s version). I'm comparing only

Mac Pro with w6900x uses PCIe gen 3, which is 2x worse than gen 4. And given other results in that thread, I think it's unlikely to be the bottleneck. If it was, people with ryzen CPUs and 30 series cards would have much higher perform

Transfer on and off the GPU is limited mostly by PCIe and the latest Mac Pro that performs almost like M1 Max in rasterization has only PCIe3.0, while PCIe gen 4 with double the bandwidth is available on many PCs. If you look closely at the
