Doubt that a majority of startups are using GoDaddy. GoDaddy made themselves well-known and bought Super Bowl ads. That's the first company many people think of at one point of time when they think of domain names.

It can be the new LAMP but not yet. In my opinion, LAMP became common due to its deployment. There's virtually nothing to do asides placing the PHP files in the directory that is exposed by Apache. Applications such as WordPress depended on

This reminds me, I stay in Singapore and there's this policy in all libraries (we only have state libraries) that you have to read something when in the library to sit at a table. I've been chased out for doing work there for that reason.

I agree that Lorem ipsum shouldn't be used as a replacement for instructions but it does have its place in prototyping. Lorem ipsum is tremendously useful as placeholders for content types such of sample blog posts, sample description etc.
