I use DDG for all my general searching, but I've found that Google is better for searching for technical things. So I haven't stopped using Google Search completely :(

Didn’t want to sell my soul to a heartless company that exploits workers. I’d rather be part of the solution and build products and services for unions, non-profits, and movement organizing.

Besides some Apple applications, I don’t think I’ve ever used the AppStore to install an application.

Leaving the AppStore doesn’t mean they can’t create MacOS applications. Most MacOS applications aren’t even installed via the AppStore.

Very thoughtful and nuanced post-mortem. I generally agree with what he had to say. I think I’m more on the side of thinking leaders should be moral people and not think that pedophilia is defensible. I do believe people in power should be

It’s about time. Landlords have been exploiting tenants in California (and across the US) for far too long.

He raped and trafficked underage girls. He video taped them and flaunted them around powerful people. You really want to defend a monster like that?

I switched to Firefox from Chrome a few months ago, and I love it so far. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I think Firefox is great ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I was 16 I started smoking weed almost everyday until I was 20, I took a break until I was 22, and now I live in a legal state and I enjoy a joint or two on the weekends. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I work as a software

I realize this article was written in 2014, but a $600 rent + utilities is insane! I'm easily paying 3x as much.

I can proudly say that I’ve ditched Chrome for Firefox for about a month now. The first few days were a little rough (migrating passwords and what not), but now I love it. Keep up the good work FF!
